BLOGWORDS

A popular old game where the FIRST LETTER of each word in a coherent English sentence spells out a message.

EG: Better Lonz on Grotty's whining otherwise reply deserves scorning.

Answer for the sentence above "BLOGWORDS"

Compete against each other and the Robots for the most amusing combination of SENTENCE and MESSAGE.

-------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------

This was inspired by a particularly intricate piece of Phishing-Spam which used considerable finesse to roast an old Chestnut down a perilous Road to a non existent house address.

All credit is given to any prior owners of "BLOGWORDS" or any other device which may be finessed to appear to be similar in any dimension.

Monday there was a new adjustment lady in the EBRT torture chamber......

Torture lady: I am over from the BLUE robot room

Lonz: Oh, what color is my robot?

Torture lady: This is the PINK one.

Lonz: I didn't know that these robots had sex. Will this pink have her wicked way with what's left of me?

Torture lady: No, the BLUE robot has blue cards and you put a pink card in the attendance box!

Lonz: Oh.....so I can still call my robot him then......

==================

When I arrive early, or the next victim jumps the queue I work on the jigsaw. There is a nice sized table in the middle of the waiting room and it has a 1000 piece jigsaw partly done...an old cottage reflecting in a mill stream with an attic window prominently protruding from a huge tiled roof. I have been building the attic and the entry door....somebody else does bits and on Monday my attic had been moved inside the jigsaw border and rotated 90 deg.

No progress over night and I didn't even have time to put one piece in this morning.

I like jigsaws...prefer 400 pieces so you can get a real sense of satisfaction at each sitting.

==================

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

T. S. Eliot Quotes

==================

It looks like the thumbscrews will be tightened tomorrow....

Today the torturerinchargeofsecurityandconfientiallity spotted me returning the pen and notepad I had borrowed to write down the jigsaw puzzle number so that I could find a picture on the INTERNET and post above AND she put me in trouble for transgressing into one of the forbidden zones...it went like this.....

torturerinchargeofsecurityandconfientiallity: Mr lonz...you are not allowed behind there.

Lonz: just returning a pen and notepad.

torturerinchargeofsecurityandconfientiallity : Mr Lonz! there are confidential patient records there you must ask one of us if you want something.

Lonz: oops sorry, nobody there, just want pen to write down jigsaw puzzle details.

torturerinchargeofsecurityandconfientiallity : you must ask one of us...pateint confidential records.

Lonz:......ok...I didn't know the records were there, I just wanted a pen, BUT NOW I WILL KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR NEXT TIME.....thanks for making me aware of the records.......

torturerinchargeofsecurityandconfientiallity : (mission accomplished??????)

Lonz: ( ...let's see what tomorrow brings....)

Into the torture chamber once more dear friends, but this time into the stocks!

EBRT is used after Brachy-Therapy for 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week for about a month. External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT)

  1. First I get my Biker tatoos...three pinhead size marks to help position me correctly on the RACK...
  2. A tatoo dot on each hip and one below the navel.
  3. I go in at 7:15 each day to leave the rest free for doing or snoozing etc.
  4. Position on the torture table with feet firmly in the stocks to minimize movements and accurate positioning ( the target zone must be within 3mm)
  5. The ZappingRobot's head whirs into action...snaps a couple of xray shots from oblique angles for my tormentors to gloat over.
  6. They rush back into the chamber and announce perfect positioning (once again)...this conveys that they know what they are doing and I am not about to end up as stir fried chilly beef with black bean balls!
  7. Rush out, klaxons, the Zapper gives me a sniff and rotates, pausing in 3 positions on each side of my hips to whiz whir and zap.
  8. In come my personal Inquistioners to hand me the "pullingmyselfupstrap", feet out of the stocks....dust of the rotten fruit and decaying vegetables that were thrown by the town square hecklers.
  9. Adjust my clothing.
  10. Say thanks.
  11. Feed my parking card into the fee erasing robot.
  12. Hit the road.

Overview:

An encounter with Life and Death, some amusing characters, a recommended, painless procedure with a very high probability of a good outcome.

The players:

Lonz - me - the narrator and subject of these indignities.

The DickDoctor - an expert Urology Specialist Doctor, leader in his field chairing many comities and ruining a research group as a top University.

The RobotDoctor - a expert Radiation Specialist Doctor with many successful years of association with the DickDoctor and followup EBRT.

The FeelNoPainDoctor - a skilled anesthetist who knows when to call for help from his colleagues to get a good outcome.

MatronCastorOil - the butt of my silly jokes, heart of gold, expert cordinator.

Alpaca - a top minister of religion and a mentor to me over many years. Go into battle with him, a practical man.

Others - all terrific in their field.

I quote the Deed of empowerment sent to me from Grotty yesterday:

  • Evening, what are you doing?
  • The Pond is a riot of crankiness.
  • Directed at you, and David. (Giggling madly) PMS?
    Ha ha.
  • I just dropped by Cindy's blog, to get to gav Jackson's blog, and phew, you are The Bad Guy at the moment eh?
  • I am jealous! Ha ha.
  • Then I skittered over to Mandy's. Ooh-la-la!"

So, Grotty recognizes that there is a need bubbling to the surface of some Big Bloggers to let of some steam with a bit of poofter bashing and who am I to go against Grotty's dying words.

My temporary role is to be provocative, give you something to focus your pent up anger on while the Big Boss works his magic within each or your lives to bring you back to the light side.

Let the games begin. As you have asked for it:

take no prisoners

Well it seems the new Finacial year at BigPond Will probably see some more heads roll and some substantial changes to the Marketing profile for BigPond.

Here are my preditctions from Nostra Lonzus:

  • Grotty was pushed, she didn't jump.
  • There is a set of BlogPolice who will be funded to go around assasinating blogs not fitting the demographic adopted by the new Blog Marketing Plan.....this will be entertaining to watch, but very painful to those on the receiving end.
  • The Popular blogs will only be those run by emplyees of the new BlogPilice.org marketing department. This is a good management decision and should swing unsuspecting customers towards BigBlog and it's soon to be announced enhancements.
  • The Mande blog is currently under review, you will see timm there jollying her along as he collects evidence..saraa will follow soon
  • The popularity/rating/statistics sytem will change completly.
  • It will become more difficult to locate some of your favourite blogs, so you should bookmark them now while you can still find them ( before the weekend )
  • Some new services will be added and some deleted from the BigPond offering with more seamless integration to the mobile phone segment.

  • How does the budget affect you...kiddie cokes?
  • Grog tax?
  • Means tested baby bonus...particularly relevant?
  • I think Nelson and Turnbull are looking very articulate...maybe we are in for a good opposition.
  • They even sound focused.

What affects you?

Here is another spoof where tricky hackers can post comments which look like they are genuine from a logged in BigBlogger.

  • They post under OTHER
  • They insert a 'Copy' of your avatar ( small image )
  • They post YOUR URL.
  • They may then post a comment with YOUR typical spelling errors, short cuts or funny sayings.

Beware........forgers are there.

Keep yer powder dry.....whatch yer back....have fun me hearties...this is adventure Bloggin' at its best on the HighSeas of BugPondia!

=======================

New evidence.....

David has shown that it is possible to post with an avatar which matches the file name of the original so now we seem to have no current method of weeding out forged comments...let the ambiguity of identity theft fall back on the conscience of the forger when she confronts the Big Boss on judgment day.

The Bowylie Cup was held on a private airfield at Gundaroo near Canberra last weekend.

200 large scale models

100 pilots

Best thing for 30 years in NSW since Dan Reece's "Air pageant and Races" in 1982. That was like the "Magnificent men in their flying machines" when we all dressed up and build models which covers the start of aviation up to 1930.

Here is a small glimpse of the Bowylie Cup:
